Quiliano
Quiliano, a unique, unrepeatable backdrop, if referred to Liguria, even cheeky: woods, rich and generous waterways, waterfalls, shadows and an ecosystem of high environmental quality: products sold out already on the tree such as apricot, in a scenario with a green beyond comparison, in the middle stand out cover vineyards: rigorous as musical scores, combed like debutantes, in which in the sun, rich and generous bunches reverberate. The Granaccia it was born here, and here it is enhanced in its natural and historical “Terroir”. Quiliano, a land to discover on the Alta Via dei Monti Liguri, with a balcony overlooking the sea.
Roccavignale
The Municipality of Roccavignale is located in the Alta Val Bormida, on the border with the Province of Cuneo.
The town has an area of 17,46 square kilometers and is made up of four hamlets: Strada, Camponuovo, Pianissolo and Valzemola.
The first inhabited village rose in the valley below the Castle where a dolmen from the Neolithic era still exists today; the first historical references date back to 998 AD. In the fourteenth century, following an exceptional flood of the river Zemola, the ancient village was abandoned and rebuilt in the nearby hills.
Currently the resident population is 770 inhabitants, the altitude is between 420 and 964 meters above sea level and the territory is made up of 75% woods.
In recent years, the municipality has focused a lot on tourism by creating interesting initiatives such as the "Giant Bench", the Panoramic Heart, the Dolmens' life trail, the lakes for sport fishing, the Rokkafest, the hiking trails with beautiful caves and will soon be inaugurated the first ZipLine in Liguria.
Roccavignale in recent years has also become a reference in the food and wine sector by baptizing three Municipal Designations (stuffed onions, acacia honey and Fazzino) and producing again its precious wine from which it even took its name.
