In the splendid setting of Villa Maria the annual appointment of the Municipality of Quiliano (SV) dedicated to Granaccia and to all the best red wines of Liguria, now in its 14th edition.
The Municipal Villa will host Sunday November 11 producers from all over Liguria for a special day of meeting, discussion and exchange with sommeliers, journalists, operators and wine lovers. Organized by ProLoco and the Savonese Slow Food Condotta in collaboration with Vite in Riviera and with the patronage of the Liguria Region, the event Granaccia & Rossi di Liguria also this year offers a rich program of taste. In fact, a real one will be set up in the municipal villa journey through the flavors of Liguria, carried out among the different tasting tables of the typical excellences of the territory.
Vite in Riviera curates and organizes the area dedicated to great red wines D.O.C. and IGT from Liguria, who will be the undisputed protagonists of the day: Granaccia, Rossese, Ormeasco di Pornassio, Colli di Luni, Colline di Levanto, Golfo del Tigullio, Val Polcevera and many others, which you can taste by directly meeting producers from all over the region.
The event will also be an opportunity to celebrate 20 years of the foundation of the Confraternity of Ormeasco (11/11 / 1998-2018), which will bring the precious to tasting Ormeasco di Pornassio Superiore, aged in wooden barrels and aged for several years.
Special guest for this edition will be the ancient Piedmontese distillery Marolo di Mussotto d'Alba, which produces excellent artisan grappa from the pomace of Pigato e Vermentino Liguria.
Within the tasting itinerary you can accompany good wine with cheese tastings of the Agricultural Company The Magnolia di Quiliano, cured meats from the Butcher's shop Jacob di Sassello, polenta by the Proloco di Quiliano, bread sticks and buns of the Grissinificio Quilianese and the Bakery Genta by Quiliano.
