Sunday 27 from 14 to 19 and Monday 28 March, from 11.00 to 18.00, will take place at the Enoteca Regionale di Liguria in Ortovero, in the province of Savona, the fifth edition of Prime of Vite in Riviera: an unmissable event during which the new vintages of wines and extra virgin olive oils produced by the companies of the business network will be presented Vite in Riviera.
The festival will officially begin on Sunday 27 with the opening of the tasting stands and will continue on Monday 28 March. They will be two days entirely dedicated to wine, extra virgin olive oil and the enotourist hospitality of Western Liguria.
The event, organized by Vite in Riviera and sponsored by the Municipality of Ortovero, will see the participation of the producers of Vite in Riviera who will present the new vintages of wine and oil on the market to the press, sector operators and the public of enthusiasts, tourists and wine & food lovers: protagonists are the wines DOC Riviera Ligure di Ponente, IGT Colline Savonesi, DOC Ormeasco, DOC Rossese di Dolceacqua and the extra virgin olive oil of Taggiasca Riviera del Ponente Savonese. The event will also be dedicated to hospitality and experience proposals Vite in Riviera and its companies promote thanks to the enhancement of the territory and its agri-food excellence.
Two unmissable events will be the thematic Master Classes during which you will taste some of the best wines produced by the winemakers of Vite in Riviera.
- Sunday 27 March, from 15.30 to 16.30, "I Bianchi del Ponente Ligure, the weather that improves”: Wine tasting of aged white wines from Western Liguria, presented by Sommelier Augusto Manfredi.
- Monday 28 March, from 12.30 to 13.30, "The elegance of the Great Reds of Western Liguria": Wine tasting of a selection of great red wines from the companies of Vite in Riviera, presented by the Sommelier Augusto Manfredi.
The cost for participation in each Master Class is € 30.00, for a maximum of 10 seats each.
Monday 28 March at 15.00 pm, meeting with the author, journalist and wine educator, Laura Donadoni who will present her new book "Wine keepers - Stories of an Italy that exists and is reborn ". The book is dedicated to Italian wine producers and territories and also contains a section dedicated to Ponente Ligure, the result of a visit by Laura Donadoni on our territory, during the summer of 2021. The Vice President of the Liguria Region will be present with Laura Donadoni. and Councilor for Agriculture Alessandro Piana and the President of the Regional Enoteca of Liguria Marco Rezzano for a comparison and debate on the wine and extra virgin olive oil of the territory, which will involve all present.
Participation in the presentation of the book is by reservation.
