For the third year in a row, the new vintages of DOC and IGT wines from the network's wineries are presented in the town of Ingauna, the capital of a district renowned for its agri-food production. The products of 23 wineries will be showcased. This event is dedicated to all wine producers and hospitality professionals. Among the collateral events are a Masterclass (reserved for industry professionals) and a guided tour of the historic center.
Twenty days ahead of schedule Vinitaly, for the third year in a row Albenga returns to host “The Prime of Vite in Riviera”, an event focused on the presentation in preview and on the tasting of the new vintages of DOC and IGT wines of the companies of the network of the same name, based in the provinces of Savona and Imperia. The appointment is for Sunday 22 and Monday 23 March, inside the former Church of San Lorenzo, located in Rossi Square, characteristic location of the Old Town of the Ingauna town.
These are the opening times for the tasting tables of the individual companies:Sunday 22nd from 11am to 7:30pm, Monday 23rd from 10am to 18.30pm. As in previous editions, the Admission (which includes
free tasting, glass, glass holder, plate of zero-mile appetizers and tastings of other typical products, visit to the Sommariva Museum) costs 20 euros, with a reduction of 15 euros for sommeliers and free entry for Horeca operators, upon registration on the website www.viteinriviera.it.
The program will be enriched by a Masterclass, by invitation and reservation, entitled "From the coast to the hinterland: with Vite in Riviera Discovering the new DOC and IGT vintages” (Sunday 22nd, 10am, Palazzo Vecchio, Piazza San Michele, above the Iat Office), organised by Jacopo Fanciulli, brand ambassador of Vite in Riviera, and from a free guided tour in the historic center (Sunday 22nd, 16pm, meeting at the Iat Office, info and reservations at 335.5366406 and turismo@comune.albenga.sv.it). Other initiatives are also in the pipeline that involve local businesses, businesses, and accommodations in Albenga.
The event is carried out with the Support of the Municipality of Albenga, with the sponsorship of the Liguria Region, the Chamber of Commerce of the Ligurian Riviera, the National Association of Wine Cities (of which Albenga is a member) and the Regional Wine Shop of Liguria, the support of Banca d'Alba and with the collaboration of Fisar and 86 or so you are.

The event format remains the same as in recent years. In addition to the confirmation of all our member companies, I'd like to officially announce the arrival of three new companies to our ranks, starting in early 2026: Fontanacota from Pornassio, Distilleria Salsano from Albenga, and La Rocca di Perti from Finale Ligure. We're obviously already working towards the 58th Vinitaly, from April 12th to 15th at Veronafiere, where we'll be significantly representing Western Liguria, confirming a large space in Pavilion 10. In addition to tastings of all our labels, we'll also be offering three Masterclasses to the many industry professionals attending the most important Italian trade show. One of these, after the great success of 2025, will be will be held again in the prestigious Sala Iris”.
